Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or “Tapping” is a simple and powerful technique that can help to raise our vibration by clearing painful emotions attached to traumatic memories or limiting beliefs.
It can help to improve our quality of life by releasing us from unwanted thinking and behaviour patterns and allow us to generally feel happier and more empowered.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) was developed by Gary Craig. It is a system of tapping on some of the main accupressure points used in traditional Chinese Medicine in combination with approaches taken from modern psychology. There are no needles used. Whilst tapping on the accupressure points we can talk through our issues and allow the body’s natural energy to flow, allowing changes in beliefs and releasing of “stuck” emotions.
This technique can help to release trauma and allow us to move on with our lives with new found freedom and inner strength.
In some cases profound changes can happen in a very short space of time. In other cases, more gradual shifts may occur over a longer period of time. In cases where deep emotional trauma has been “buried” these emotions can surface and cause us to feel these powerful emotions, sometimes for the first time. This may be unsettling for those who are not used to feeling and managing their emotions, but with continued tapping, the emotional intensity is reduced.
This releasing of energy can allow us to gain a new perspective and help to restore a sense of personal empowerment. This can be very helpful in releasing us from addictive or unhelpful behaviour patterns. It can help to create more balance and harmony within, and therefore within our relationships with others.
